There is a difference between psychiatric conditions and garden variety "depression/anxiety". When you show up to this place, they treat you accordingly. They deal with people who talk to themselves, or who have legitimately tried to kill another human being. And when you show up with your hand outstretched for free RXs or just "panic attacks", you get told to wait while they deal with the potential homicidal psychopath in the next room. Is that really all that surprising? The people who write these reviews didn't have the patience it takes to understand the gravity of the diagnoses these people see on a day to day basis. Murder, Assault, Rape, PTSD, et al. So when you walk in for FREE DRUGS, they know immediately and tell you to sit and wait. As any health professional does. I mean for f**ks sake, the first review of this place flat out says "They can give you prescriptions if meds are what you need"!!!!! A regular psychiatrist will make you wait weeks before they even CONSIDER writing RXs for controlled substances. So they're more than par for the course as far as their field goes. I'm bi-polar manic depressive, and I've been dealing with these kinds of doctors my whole life. There was no difference in treatment at this facility.
